Toronto Climbing Academy offers a brand-new fully Air Conditioned state of the art rock climbing facility with ample parking. Our big windows offer amazing natural light throughout the facility creating a welcoming, fun and friendly atmosphere. 4worldlovers: Our gym caters to new and experienced climbers of all ages, with sections dedicated to bouldering, auto belay, top rope and lead climbing across a wide range of difficulties as well as a climbing-specific training area and weightlifting area. We also offer climbing and belaying courses, youth programming, and a wide range of quality climbing equipment.

Children younger than 5 require direct 1:1 adult supervision (within arm’s reach) at all times. Children between the ages of 5 and 12 require close 2:1 adult supervision (within speaking range). Children under 13 and may not climb or use safety equipment independently. Our fitness areas are reserved for adults and youth climbers attending classes.

Guests are strongly encouraged to book online in advance using the booking button below. Drop-in climbing is permitted for non-members whenever the gym is not full.

We are open from 10am-10pm daily. Our members-only hours are Mon-Fri 8am-10am and Sat 9am-10am.

We have climbing walls designed specifically for your little (and big) monkeys. Maximum 3 children to 1 non-participating adult OR maximum 2 children to 1 participating adult. Children under 14 years of age must be supervised at all times. For larger groups or “drop-off” climbing sessions for your kids, just book an instructor (Group Belay) or sign up for one of our Recreational Programs (Kinder Rok, Lil Rok & JRok).

Want to try the higher walls? We also have many autobelays! The auto belays lower you back down to earth at a controlled rate. Levels offered: Beginner to Advanced. To climb, you need to properly fit into a harness (and be at least 4 years of age and weigh at least 35 lbs). To clip in or out of the auto belays you need to pass a 10 minute orientation and be at least 18 years of age (or 16+ with complete “stripes” test). Gear needed: Climbing shoes & harness. Children 18 & under must be supervised.

I had always enjoyed being active and doing sports and during the summer of my last year of university I discovered climbing. It was new and exciting, and something I could continuously challenge myself. When I first started, I saw lead climbing and told myself this was never something I would do.I disliked the sensation of falling and with lead there is always a chance of falling. However, 3 months later I found myself taking the lead course and started leading. I wanted to share my love of climbing to others and started working in a climbing gym. Many years later here I am still working in a climbing gym wanting people to enjoy climbing as I did.
