4worldlovers: Toronto Boxing Academy offers a progression system to help individuals achieve their fitness goals, learn intermediate to advanced boxing techniques, and eventually compete in the ring. The foundation of their training is the Boxing Bootcamp class, which is suitable for beginners to advanced participants. In this class, individuals will learn the basics of boxing, including stance, punches, and footwork, and engage in partner pad work drills, heavy bag drills, and conditioning exercises. The Box-Tech classes build upon the foundational skills learned in the Boxing Bootcamp, including defence, counter-punching, advanced Pad work, footwork, and light contact drills. Once individuals have learned their defence for each punch and are comfortable with the light contact drills, they may move on to sparring with coaching approval. Toronto Boxing Academy's competitive program prepares individuals for the world of amateur boxing, including the chance to compete in club shows and tournaments. Depending on the individual's progress and goals, entry into Provincial and National competitions, as well as the professional boxing ranks, may also be a possibility.
